Let us be for all people, not some people. The religion of the future, the spirituality of the future, the politics of the future, the man and woman of the future must be for all people. Our hearts must not just laugh with bliss, our hearts must break and cry for the myriad suffering unjustly, due to the greed and corruption of the few. The violence and heartlessness of governments, corporations, banks, and religious institutions will not define our future, if we, the people of the world, choose together a path of love, compassion, courage, and justice. May peace and justice come for all. May we be persons of courage and honesty, in creating a new world of one communion, together. May it be!

Having no mind, without desires, Self-quieted, self-existing, It is like a wave of water. Luminosity is veiled only by the rising of desire.

Luminosity, the uncreate clarity, is the natural state of the heart-mind, the state of pure faith. This faith has no content, no subject, and no object. Here, in the contemplative state of union, the soul and Spirit realize oneness as One.
This union is like meeting an old friend and realizing you never parted company. You realize you only forgot each other. So, our destiny is to awaken to union, not achieve union.
Prior to this awakening, one speaks of having faith in God: faith has a direction. In union one no longer has faith in God as other - as separate from - than oneself. Faith as faith in someone or something drops.
Here one is not trusting God, as a direction of certainty or hope or will, for this is dissolved in a oneness of such bliss and truth that certainty and clarity without content exists in the embrace of One all-inclusive Life.
This faith is a state of union in Love. As Tilopa speaks from the Buddhist tradition, the natural union is without desire, for in fulfillment there can be no desire. How can you desire to have what you awaken to see you already have?
So, let yourself move beyond faith as faith in and desire as longing for the Other, by being taken by Grace to the culmination of both faith and its accompanying desire. Then, enjoy quiet and existence in undifferentiated union, in which no longer does "God" or "you" relate with each other as others, objects to each other. Rather, you relate in each other, as each other - yet, as a difference that still inheres in this mystical marriage. That is, the Oneness can express out of Itself into the sharing with, but retaining its Oneness.
In contemplative awareness, the communion that once marked your relationship with the Divine is taken into an embrace of sharing of one self-subsistent being in Love beyond desire. Twoness melts into prior Oneness. And this is such faith-less and desire-free bliss that the Christian mystic St. Teresa of Avila could write, "Oh, Jesus! If only we could find the countless jewels hidden in sacred scriptures to guide us to this deep soul-peace!" (The Interior Castle, trans. Mirabai Starr)
Here, as with faith and desire, one enjoys self-subsistent peace arising from and in the self-subsistence of the self and its Beloved One, with all the qualities of luminous divinity in one natural state.
